Metro Awards of Excellence at University of Toronto in Canada 2020

International students who wish to enroll in a degree program at the University of Toronto are invited to apply for the Metro International Secondary Academy Awards of Excellence. Based on academic merit, it will be given to local or foreign undergraduate students beginning their first year of study. Former pupils of the Metro International Secondary Academy will be given preference.

The University is dedicated to fostering a community of scholars who are steadfast in their adherence to the ideals of equality of opportunity, fairness, and justice. The university offers extensive scholarship award programs that honor outstanding performance at all academic levels. Each year, the University, its schools, faculties, and divisions give out over 5,800 in-course prizes and about 5,000 entrance scholarships at a combined total of close to $23 million.

The student with the highest average will receive a $5,000 reward each year, and two more $2,500 awards will be given based on academic merit.

International Bursaries at Algoma University in Canada 2020

International Bursaries are currently being given out by Algoma University to anybody who want to begin undergraduate programs there.

All current and new international degree students who register for the 2020 Spring and 2020 Fall semesters will receive a $2,000 bursary. The $2,000 bursary is for two consecutive terms of study and is established at $1,000 every 15-credit semester (or $200 per 3-credit course) (2020 Spring and 2020 Fall or 2020 Fall and 2021 Winter). This would also apply to the 2021–2022 academic year, with a maximum total of $4,000 over the course of the two years.

For the 2020 Spring and 2020 Fall semesters, all current and new Graduate Certificate program students will receive a $3,000 grant. The $3,000 bursary is good for two consecutive terms of study and is established at $1,500 every 15-credit semester (or $300 per 3-credit course) (2020 Spring and 2020 Fall or 2020 Fall and 2021 Winter). This would also apply to the 2021–2022 academic year, with a maximum total of $6,000 over the course of the two years.

Engineering International Awards at McGill University in Canada 2020

Students who want to enroll right away in a degree program at the Faculty are given multi-year financing through the Engineering International Awards at McGill University.

The Faculty of Engineering’s Ph.D. programs continue to draw top-tier international doctoral students by using financing from the MEITA to help cover the cost of their international Ph.D. tuition supplement fee.

The Faculty of Engineering grants a MEITA award of $8,000 towards the international Ph.D. supplement cost in addition to the minimum support of $19,000 each year supplied by the supervisor or Department, for a total funding package of at least $27,000. International Latin American Leadership Entrance Awards at Fanshawe College in Canada 2021

The International Latin American Leadership Entrance Awards are given to international students at Fanshawe College who are enrolled full-time in Level 1 (or first semester with advanced standing) of their first post-secondary program and who have a valid study permit from a country in Central America or South America, as determined by the International Office.

Candidates who have just graduated from high school and accepted their offer of admission to study a particular program at Fanshawe College are given the opportunity to receive an entrance scholarship grant. Since they are mostly determined by the applicant’s overall admission GPA, many of these award opportunities do not require applicants.
